Below is how to tell if your unit(s) are GENUINE Quantum Solenoid:

LEXUS and TOYOTA solenoids:

1. The housing for the unit (the part that protrudes out of the engine) is larger (longer and bigger in diameter) than an OEM unit.

2. The housing unit will have a laser engraved logo of the Quantum "Q" with the words Quantum Solenoid stacked on top of each other (A). It can be on either side of the solenoid.

2. On the back bracket where the unit is clipped into the car wiring, you will see the word "IZUMI" followed by the manufacturing date and random numbers.

3. The front housing (smaller diameter portion in red) will have different sized holes that matches up with the OEM unit. They can vary in size, length, and diameter.
